MFT Administrative Rules & Regulations Survey
In January of this year, Governor Cox issued an Executive Order requiring each DOPL regulated profession to review their administrative rules and regulations with the intent to remove or revise any regulation which creates a barrier to working, and impose only those regulations which are necessary to protect the health, safety, and well-being of Utah residents.
If interested in reading the Executive Order, you can find the public document here (for context):
The MFT DOPL Licensing Board has asked the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (UAMFT) Board of Directors for input. As your representatives and as advocates for the MFT license, we are asking UAMFT members, as well as all MFT license-holders, to complete this survey with the intent to understand and represent your opinions and experiences. Once we receive survey results, we will be able to complete our review of the MFT administrative rules and regulations and make recommendations to DOPL.
Thank you so much for your participation and for the work you do with individuals and families in Utah.
